Accreditation and Affiliation

  1. Hope Africa University is fully accredited by the Government of Burundi under the Minister's Order No. 610/1379 of September 23, 2003

  2. Hope Africa University is affiliated with the Free Methodist Church, though it is non-denominational in its admissions and hiring policies.  Currently, there are more than fifty (50)  church organizations represented in the student body and faculty.

  3. Hope Africa University is a member of the Association of Free Methodist Educational Institutions, an association of the Free Methodist Church of the United States of America

  4. Hope Africa University is a member of the Inter-University Council of East Africa
